So a few weeks ago–about the time our Basset got stung, our neighbors, who never go to their upper yard, had their grandchildren visiting.  I know as a father to two kids, that small children will always find the missing staple, thumb tack, piece of glass, or hidden bee hive.  So we now have to move our hive.

Fast forward to two weeks ago.  I built a new pad in the side of the hill up by our house.
4/20. Path cleared, dolly purchased, halogen worklight acquired at Home Depot by way of China–so I know it’s dangerous, and we are ready to move the sucka!
